Deputy Principal
Wilson School is seeking an experienced and future‑focused Deputy Principal to join our committed and collaborative leadership team.
Wilson School is a vibrant specialist school based on Auckland’s North Shore, with a base school in Hauraki and satellite classes across five host schools. We support ORS‑funded learners aged 5–21 years, working in close partnership with whānau, host schools and a highly skilled multidisciplinary team to provide inclusive, personalised learning pathways.
We are seeking a Deputy Principal who thrives on leading learning, building strong relationships and strengthening systems to improve outcomes for students with complex learning needs. The successful applicant will be an outstanding people leader with deep knowledge of specialist education, effective inclusive pedagogy, and culturally responsive practice grounded in Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
This is a fully released, high‑profile role working closely with the Principal and senior leadership team. The successful candidate will have opportunities to lead within areas of strength, develop new leadership capability, and make a meaningful difference for learners, whānau and staff.
Due to the geographical nature of our school, a full driving license is essential. School visits are welcome.
